Following the nomination of Etrading Software Limited by TC68 SC8 as the Registration Authority (RA) for the ISO 24165 Digital Token Identifier (DTI) last year, ISO Council has approved Etrading Software to provide the delivery of the services necessary for the implementation of the standard.
A newly launched initiative is expected to make investment portfolios that blend traditional securities with digital assets more easy to manage by bringing standardisation to how digital assets are identified.
To examine synergies between the DTI and ISIN standards
Non-profit foundation will provide ISO standard identifiers for digital assets based on open data principles.
PAC The DTIF Product Advisory Committee (PAC) has been established to discuss the new vendor-neutral,
ISO TC68 SC8 WG3 has produced a draft international standard for identifying digital tokens, ISO 24165, with the publication of the standard expected by end 2021.
