ISO 24165 DTI Edition 2 Is Here: What’s New and Why It Matters

The Digital Token Identifier (DTI) standard, first introduced by ISO in September 2021, has been updated with Edition 2 to incorporate feedback from regulators and market participants. Published in May and June 2025, the revised standard introduces key enhancements to improve clarity, usability, and alignment with market developments. The DTIF is pleased to announce that the DTI registry is being upgraded to reflect these changes, with the latest implementation scheduled to go live in December 2025.
